We recognize that finding your ideal shade isn’t an exact science, since it depends upon skin tone, product formulations and personal preferences, but we promise we’ll present you with the best possible choices for a particular product! By using our shade-finder, you consent to the use of your camera and/or device to enable us to measure your skin tone and deliver personalized product recommendations.

2. Information We Collect

We may collect information about you in a variety of ways, including:

• Camera data: We use your smartphone’s (selfie) camera to collect data on select regions of your face to measure the color and condition of your skin. That said, we do not collect, keep, disclose or share photographs or video imagery of your face.
• Geometric data: When available we use your smartphone’s 3D camera to measure the position of your face with respect to your phone, but we do not collect, store or share geometric 3D images of your face. To be perfectly clear, our shade finder does not collect, keep, disclose or share information which could be used for facial recognition or identity verification.
• Skin Color measurements: Our software collects and analyzes data from select regions of your face (cheeks, forehead and jawline) to measure physical characteristics, such as your skin tone and skin condition. Our AI algorithms use this information to deliver personalized product recommendations. The data we collect and analyze cannot be used to identify you or your identity.
• Usage Data: Information automatically collected when accessing our website or services, including device type, access times, and software performance.

3. Sharing and Using Your Information

• Processing the information you share: Our shade finder software does all analysis and processing of camera and 3D information locally on your phone. We do not collect, keep, disclose or share camera or 3D data which could be used to identify you with the cloud or with any third parties.
• Data we share with the cloud and our partners: We share data on your skin tone, skin condition and product recommendations with our commercial partners and the cloud, but this data is anonymized (identified with random numerical representations), and the data we share does not contain any personally identifiable information.

• We may share your information with trusted service providers who assist us in operating our services.
• We may share your information if required by law or to protect our rights and interests or in the event of a merger, acquisition, or asset sale.
